Dr. Brett M. Shigley
A native of Greenville, SC, Dr. Shigley received his dental degree with honors from the Medical University of South Carolina James B. Edwards College of Dental Medicine. He then did a one-year rotation in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the renowned University of Maryland Health Center and Shock Trauma Center. In 2014, Dr. Shigley returned to MUSC to complete a four-year residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery and was appointed chief resident during his final year. Prior to setting up Magnolia Falls Oral Surgery & Dental Implant Center in Powdersville, SC, Dr. Shigley was a partner at Carolinas Center for Oral and Facial Surgery in Charlotte, NC and owned a private practice in Greenville, SC. He is a nationally recognized dental implant expert and educator. Dr. Shigley is passionate about helping less fortunate people, offering his services at local dental clinics and dental missions to Honduras, Ecuador, and Trinidad. He and his wife spend as much free time as possible with their three young children in the beautiful Greenville outdoors, including boating, biking, hiking, and golf.
